I’m with you! I *like* having a physical copy of the material. Besides, it saves me a step of backing up the digital downloads I’ve purchased.
As many of the listeners may know, I live in Korea – in a VERY small apartment. I’d say it’s about 450 sq feet. Needless to say, I ain’t got no place to put NUTTIN’! As much as I would like to have a physical copy of all my favorite shows and movies, it’s just not possible. I have an external hard drive that all TV downloads go to automatically. I watch and delete them. If I buy something on iTunes, I have the dilemma of what to do with it once my hard drive starts to run out of space. If I copy them to dvd, well, I might as well have bought the dvd in the first place! One problem I have about buying things on iTunes is that you don’t get the dvd extras. That really burns me. What to do, what to do? The only dvd sets I currently own are Firefly/Serenity, Buffy, Angel, and Dollhouse.
