Into the Badlands
« on: December 26, 2015, 04:03:02 AM »
A solid  8 out of 10, check this show out.  8) Scifi meets Kungfu samurais, meets Steampunks, meets Madmax, meets US civil war and there seems to be a ban on technology or ban on modern guns so most confrontations are settled the old fashioned way. scifi meets madmax meets samurai...I don't know how else to describe it.  :D You might recognize the old tough soldier actor from Avatar he's playing a wheelchair bound character named 'Waldo' I suspect half of the post apocalypse civilisation are secretly opium addicts.  :o

I enjoyed the first season.  I'll be talking about it when we record our next set of podcasts.

Haven't heard anything about a possible season 2 yet.

I burned through the first season that was on my DVR.  I was very happy with the world, the characters and the storyline.  I hope it does get another season.

Well it was too hot to go outside anyway and besides season 1 was only 6 episodes :)

Fun show, wouldn't mind seeing more of it sometime but I don't feel like I NEED to see more of it, I have a couple of issues with the world and the way it's set up but they aren't deal breakers.

It can't rain all the time...
