  1. This was a great movie! I really enjoyed this movie, great cast and effects. Great to see Brian J. Smith from SGU again.

I came into this knowing nothing of the game series except that this was based on a game. I was not disappointed at all with this movie.

    Title: 7, Plot: 8, Acting: 8, F/X: 8, Cheese: 5, Eye-Candy: 7, ReWatch: 8, Death-Scenes: 4

It almost seems like this movie was intended to launch a TV Series if it was successful in addition to the new game that was advertised during the movie. If this ever did go to series I would watch it with this cast. Although, I believe it won’t happen since future games in the series have been canceled due to lack of sales.

I loved the cast, Robert Patrick’s heroic death also brought a tear to my eye. I enjoyed the Brother/Sister dynamic, the Solder/Techie dynamic. And the honorable tribesmen with the Blood Debt was great. Great plot twist with the daughter being with White Faction and a great reveal at the end.

The girls in this movie were hot and acted very well. This is certainly one I would also love to pick up on Blu-Ray.

    PS:
I also caught the great use of the “Martian Face” in the movie. This was the landscape that was discovered by NASA that looks like a face and has caused speculation of life on Mars. I wonder if they used the real NASA image or CGI for this.
