  1. I was looking forward to this because of Erica Cerra (Jo on Eureka), but she was barely in it and then dies! Such a disappointment.

Ironically, other than that, this movie was very, very good.
Title: 6, Plot: 5, Acting: 8, Special Effects: 9, Cheese Level: 5, Eye Candy: 5, Rewatchability: 7, Death Scenes: 7

I was surprised by this one. The acting all around was great even by normal movie standards. The special effects were far better than the normal SyFy fare, very cool effects in the sky with the red clouds. A lot of action and nothing took me out of the movie.

Eye-Candy, we had Luisa D’Oliveira who has done a few of these movies and is great and looks very good. The major disappointment is we only get to see a little of Erica Cerra 🙁 The other female caster members were also very attractive.

I noticed additionally, The Tanners (in the opening) and Lawson didn’t get credited in the opening credits. I recognized the Father Tanner as Alex Zahara, a popular face in these SyFy Movies. Also, David Lewis was Caroline’s partner. It’s interesting that the main actress used to promote the movie wasn’t even credited in the movie.

I did some checking and see that Alex Zahara was in Earth’s Final Hours and David Lewis was Collision Earth, both also from Cinetel. I assume they were pulled into this for small parts while the other two movies were filming?

Very good entry in the Weather Disaster Movies. Maybe we’ll get Creature Features as the next theme month(s)?
