Quantum Leap (1989 – 1993)
This classic Science Fiction television show was created by Donald P. Bellisario and stared Scott Bakula as Dr. Sam Beckett and Dean Stockwell as Admiral Al Calavicci. Each week the series had Sam “leap” into a different person in a different time period “putting right what once went wrong and hoping each time that his next leap would be the leap home.” The premise allowed the show to provide a mix of stories, including, humor, horror, drama, romance, social commentary and science fiction. The show also inspired a revival series that premiered in 2022.
