Right on! I’ve always wondered why studios gloss past these kinds of little, but important details, especially when it happens in a movie or television show where the weapon is featured on the screen or in the dialog. For me, odd weapons behavior or handling is as distracting as when visibly different weapons, vehicles or aircraft are used across several scenes while the story suggests nothing should have changed.
