The networks have embraced the idea of SciFi Friday in a big way this TV season. Four genre shows return tonight. CBS has a double-shot of supernatural goodness with the Ghost Whisperer at 8pm EST/PST followed by Medium at 9pm EST/PST.
Clark Kent returns to save Smallville again for season 9 at 8pm EST/PST on the CW. Dollhouse returns for season 2 at 9pm EST/PST on FOX.

Ghost Whisperer returns for Season 5. When we left off, Melinda (Jennifer Love-Hewitt) and Sam-in-new-body were re-married, and Melinda was about to give birth. Her baby may have gifts like hers, or bigger powers.

Medium makes the move to CBS. At the end of last season, Allison (Arquette) had just undergone brain surgery and maybe lost her vision abilities.
