The pilot for the Battlestar Galactica prequel that Syfy ultimately decided not to green light is about to finally be seen by the public.  Universal and Syfy have announced a multi-step release strategy for this production.

First up, on Friday, November 9th, 2012, you will begin seeing the pilot air in ten 7-12 minute chunks on the YouTube channel MachinimaPrime.  Secondly, Syfy itself will air the pilot as a two hour movie event sometime after February of 2013.  And, finally, the pilot will be released in unrated form to Blu-ray and DVD some time after that.
